Ayres Talks Bruin Track and Field at State
As we reported on Monday, Bartlesville High track and field qualified 12 student athletes for State during Regionals over the weekend.
It was the usual suspects who got in for BHS. Bartlesville has a pair of jumpers and long-distance runners who have been in contention for championships this entire spring.
Head coach David Ayres talks about a few of the relay teams who are headed to State this weekend.
There will be a ton of eyes on Gentry Turner, who should be the favorite to win the two-mile at State this weekend. Turner is also one of only a couple girls who have ran a sub-five-minute mile so far this season.
Ayres goes over a few other Bartlesville qualifiers.
6A State will be on Friday and Saturday in Oklahoma City.
