Turner, Fogle win Patriot Auto Athletes of The Year
Bartlesville High runner Gentry Turner and Caney Valley Ramona multi-sport standout Cooper Fogle, both took home the major hardware at Tuesday night’s Patriot Auto Group Night of Scholars and Champions.
They were named female and male Athlete of the Year.
Both Turner at Bartlesville High and Fogle at Caney Valley excelled in multiple sports and hold top-10 accolades in the state in their respective classifications.
Turner already has a top-5 finish at 6A cross country in addition to her upcoming accomplishments at track and field state this weekend.
Meanwhile Fogle is an accomplished track star along with leading the state in tackles for Caney Valley. He won the pole vault 2A title last year and took third this spring.
Congrats to those two and all our athlete of the week honorees all season.
